Tomato Basil Penne Pasta for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. And even though it is far from being an official holiday in the Philippines, we can still find the time to give gratitude and celebrate with our families. With the challenges that the pandemic has brought to us, living each day with our families is worth celebrating and being thankful for.

One way we can celebrate is by having a meal together with our loved ones. It is during mealtimes that the most precious and heartwarming moments are shared. We get to catch up on our daily lives, talk about what we like, and just be with each other.

Importance of dining together as a family

Aside from boding together, there are many reasons why eating together is beneficial for your health. It is through having meals together that we get to connect with our family members truly. Kids especially feel safe, secure, and loved when being surrounded by loved ones while dining.

It is also where parents can reinforce good practices and family traditions for the kids to learn. Communication is also enhanced and improved through positive conversations that can help develop sound mental and emotional well-being.

And to make your family mealtimes even more enjoyable as you celebrate together, here’s an easy and delicious Penne Pasta recipe with Hida.
